Does parking at the port get filled quickly? We are leaving on a Friday for a 3 night cruise and plan to arrive at the port at noon. Wondering if we need to get there earlier to make sure we can find parking.

You'll be fine. Most people arrive between 10:30 and 3:00. Here's a look at the parking at Port Canaveral:

7 deck parking structure, and parking lots on either end. As well as the Preferred Parking (extra cost) between the terminal and parking structure.

We got there about 10:15 for our 3 night. Parking right around the bridge to the terminal was full but the rest wasn't bad at all. Expected it to be worse with 2 ships sailing out of the PC but it wasn't.

Parking in the parking garage only gets crazy when Disney has the Dream,Fantasy, AND Wonder all sailing from Port Canaveral. So as long as you are only sailing when Dream and Fantasy are using Port Canaveral, they won't run out of parking for sure in the parking garage. If sailing when 3 ships are using the port, you may find yourself using the surface lot around the parking deck if you arrive close to all aboard time.

I have never heard about any parking facility at PC reaching capacity in the 10 years I've lived hear. What I HAVE heard is a fairly constant complaint of port officials that the off site places steal their business and the result is too many open spaces in the port's own facilities. The port when so far as to try and get the local governments to shut down the off site places ......

Does anyone have recommendations for good places off-site to park?

I've heard the Radisson around the corner has a good deal to leave your car there, as well as perhaps the Country Inn and Suites? There are some private lots, like one right by the Radisson, but again the terminal itself has tonnes of parking and is secure - I really don't think you have to worry

both of these have been around for years and are the same distance from the DCL terminal with yards ...

I've used Park n Cruise for years, as recently as last month and never had a problem. Last time I even failed to lock my car and nothing was missing on return ....

My friends prefer Park Port Canaveral .... they come in from the other side of town. If arriving via the Beachline (SR-528) PnC is at the last exit b4 the port and immediately north of the highway. PPC is just past the port on A1A across the street from the Radisson. It was previously run by the Rad' (used same shuttles) but dunno if this is still the case.

There are others ... parking operations come and go around here regularly. These are the only two I recommend.

if you are a math person ... statistically speaking, on average the same number of cars should be leaving from any previous cruise making space for the new arrivals ....
