Parking at MK for early CP ADR

What time does the parking lot open for MK? We have a 8:10 ADR at CP and plan to drive. Will it be open by 7:30? Also, what time do the monorails start to run to get us to the front gate?

We had 8:05 reservations at CP and had no problems. We probably arrived at the parking lot around 7:30 or so and hopped on the monorail. When we got to the main gate they made us wait until 8:00 before they let us in to head down to CP.

We've gotten into the parking lot around 7:15 or so. The downfall is once you are there, the monorail service is soooo slow because obviously they aren't running regularly. So here you are- you think woo hoo we pulled in early, plenty of time for all those great photos and thennot so much. The good thing is- that's been the best times for my ds to sit up front for the monorail ride!

when you're in the first half hour, the resturant is still empty, no one else will show up to take your seat because generally you have to have your name on the reservation list in order to enter the park before 9am. But don't freak out about it, give yourself 45 minutes to park and enter and get to CP and you'll be fine.
Now if you have lunch or dinner reservations, after 15 minutes they can give your seat up to some one else waiting.
