Parking at Epcot 10/9

We will be going to Epcot on 10/9 and will be driving. Since the park closes at 3 that day we were going to take the monorail over to the MK. Will we be able to take the monorail back after the fireworks even though epcot will be closed? Should we park at MK in the morning and go from there to Epcot?

Personally, I would suggest parking at the TTC, and taking the Monorail to Epcot. It's a fun way to start off the day, and the Epcot Monorail starts running at 8:00am. (7:00 for EE)

If you do decide to park at Epcot, never fear, the Epcot Monorail will run till one hour after the MK closes (or 10:30, whichever is LATER), regardless of when Epcot closes. In the case that you miss the last monorail, Buses run from the TTC to Epcot for the late late late night.

Never fear... we'll always find a way to get you to where you need to go.

A long standing general suggestion is to leave your car at the park you will be at last. Assuming you don't want to drive between parks.

In your case it would be MK (Trans. & Ticket Ctr.).

Thank you for your quick replies. I though it would be less hassle gitting into and out of the Epcot lot rather than the MK lots. Do the parking lots empty pretty quickly after fireworks or do they get jammed?
