If you go to Epcot and are only planning to go to World Showcase, can you park at Swan/Dolphin and walk to the Epcot entrance?

I stayed at the Dolphin last weekend. They had a guard posted on both Saturday and Sunday at the entrance to the parking lot. I assume to stop this.

Can you tell them you have priority seating at one of the restaurants?

Do you have those reservations? If so then I am sure you can. If not, then why would you say that!

Why would you want to do this?

If you are staying at a Disney Resort you can park for free at the parks. (This is part of what you paid for)

If you have an AP ticket you can park free at the parks. (This is part of what you paid for)

The parking at a particular resort is for the folks that paid to stay there.

If you have not paid for your parking in one of these ways, it is only $7.00 to park at the park.

If you mean one of the restaurant IN THE SWAN/DOLPHIN and you eat there no problem.

Priority seating in a WS means nothing.

The walk from S/D to EPCOT isn't that much shorter than the walk from Future World to WS. You might as well park where you're supposed to park.

sure, you can, but, if your name is not on the list, forget it.

If you are a DVC member, you can park at Boardwalk or Beach Club (it is a perk)

You can only valet park, you cannot park to enter the parks in the regular lot.

Thanks for the clarification - here is the complete policy since we are being detailed:

Valet Parking at the Walt Disney World® Resort
Disney Vacation Club Members are not charged for valet parking at Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Resort or Disney's Wilderness Lodge, regardless of where you're staying. You must present your Disney Vacation Club Member card or Walt Disney World Resort ID with your "DVC Member" designation on it when leaving your vehicle to be parked.

Members will be charged the daily fee of $6.00 for this service at any other valet parking operation at the Walt Disney World Resort. Once you've paid for the valet service, you'll receive unlimited valet parking for the remainder of the day. Whether or not you are charged to valet park, gratuities are still appropriate. There will be no charge for guests with disabilities who have the proper permits.
