Parking at DTD

We are arriving at DL on Sunday Nov 1, starting in the parks on Monday Nov 2 so there is no fireworks while we are there. I did just see there will be fireworks Sunday night. My question is, I know parking at DTD is free for 3 hours, is it hard to get parking there, or is there ample parking? And, could we see fireworks from DTD? I dont think we can see them from our hotel.

We have parked at DTD in the evenings and hadn't had a problem finding a spot. We typically ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe and then would head into the parks and made sure we were under our 3 hour FREE parking time limit.

I think there is a spot from DTD that you can see the fireworks but hopefully someone else will chime in and tell you the exact spot. I know you can get a good view of them from the Esplanade (you just prob. won't be able to see the projections on the castle).

FYI, if you eat at a DTD restaurant you can get 2 more hours free by being validated. So combine your 2 hours for dining with the 3 hours everyone gets and you've just got yourself 5 hours of free parking.
