Parking at Downtown Disney

To visit DTD, is there are a parking fee or is parking free like it is at DTD in Florida? If there is a fee, can you get validated parking if you shop or eat there?

<font color=navy>Downtown Disney is free for the first three hours. If you eat at one of the restaurants or watch a movie, you can get a two-hour validation. After that, it's $6/hour, broken in 20 minute increments.

Mary Jo - thanks! One other question - is there a separate parking lot for DTD or is there just one large parking lot for DTD and the parks?
