Parking at Disney Village/Cinema

Hi

I am trying to work out a budget at the moment. The question came up about parking. I remembered last time we were offered free parking at Disney parks with our annual pass, but on the last day we found parking at the Cinema I think or it was for the village not sure. Anyway we found out that it was easier on my childrens legs to do this than to walk to the other car park.

Does anyone know how much it was to park there?

We have used the village carpark but I cant remember how much it cost however I do remember it was quite expensive. You get a ticket when you go in and pay for how long you stay so for short visits its not too bad but for a full day it would work out very expensive.
When we were there you could get 2 hrs free parking when you ate at a restaurant in the village - not sure if this is still on though. You had to tell them in the restaurant and they put it on your receipt and gave you a ticket to feed into the pay machine in the carpark, you were then charged fro teh excess.

Which APs have you got? As with dream APs you can park at the hotels free of charge(except Disneyland hotel) so we always park at New York now

If I get an AP I take it we can park at a Disney hotel for free and use thier transportation system? Or is it walking distance. The reason I ask is because it was such a walk from the other car park that my children were tired even before we got to the park.

Apart from the Disneyland Hotel a Dream AP can park at any of the other hotels. We enjoy the stroll from the Hotel New York, but you could use the shuttle buses if you so wished
