Parking at Bradley Intnl.

Where's the best/cheap/safe place to park at Bradley? Thought my hubby would drive us to the airport on Thurs. and would drop us off, but now he says we should just drive ourselves and park in one of the lots. Need some suggestions on parking places (5 days). Thanks.

Hi,
There is long term parking at a very reasonable cost. They are in the long term economy, however, there are shuttles running all the time. I believe the cost is 7.50 per day + tax.
What we do is, perhaps this can help,: Dee drops me off at the curb with the bags, he checks in with the sky cap (shows his ID and the sky cap matches the id to his ticket), I stay behind and get the luggage checked in and after I have tipped the sky cap and made sure that it is going on its way to the plane, I just wait for him in front of the terminal. He is usually back within ten minutes. No hassling with luggage on the shuttle bus and we just walk to the gate.

We always use Roncari valet parking and have never had a problem. Also get 30% off with AAA card.

Roncari is great, but a less expensive alternative is their Galaxy self park. It is affiliated with Roncari, but does not share a website. We parked there in April and found them to be reliable, fast and the drivers helpful. They also give AAA discounts. You park the car yourself, then they come next to your car with the shuttle and help you on with luggage. They are also located one minute from the terminal.

I have usually used VIP Economy Parking. For valet service, it's $6.95 a day/$36.95 a week, plus tax.(this is with a coupon you can download off Valpak.com) I've always had good service from them. You drop your car off right in front, get on a small van who takes you right to your terminal. Coming back, you phone from outside the baggage area that you're back, and go out to wait for the next bus to come. When you get back to VIP, your car is waiting (& heated in the winter!). You pay then, which takes just a few minutes. This parking is on Rt.75, on the left.

We've always used West Side Parking on the west side of the airport in East Granby because this is the first valet parking facility we reach when coming down from Westfield/Agawam, MA. We have never been there longer than 3 minutes once we hand them our keys. They also have a AAA discount. Phone number is (860) 653-7667. It's so nice to come back to a toasty warmed-up car in the winter, and an air-conditioned, cooled-off car in the summer!

I prefer parking offsite also. We usually use Piccalo's because I often find coupons. The reason I prefer offsite is that they will have the car pulled around, warming, and cleared of snow in the winter. I hate coiming home and having to clear the car.

It is also easier for me when traveling alone. They handle the luggage for the most part.

We like VIP because you can get a good discount if you have AAA.
I believe the last time we parked there it was 25.95 per week.
