Parking at Ashford

Hi all getting into planning mode now, can anyone tell me do you have to book to park your car at Ashford for the eurostar Do you pay on your return how does it work

We've only been once & it was 5 years ago. We parked at the multi-storey car-park at the station it's linked to the station . We didn't book.

We then paid to exit on our return.

I'm sure others will help if any of that has changed.

We've parked there for the last two years when we've been to DLP and have never needed to book. Parking is very secure & is well monitored. After our last trip we had a bit of a delay before leaving the car park (trying to get all the souvenirs in somehow) & one of the attendants had come up to our floor with a battery jump starter in case we had a problem. You get the ticket when you enter the car park & have to pay for it when you leave the terminal (dont forget to pay though as the walk back from the car to the pay point can be a bit of a trek )
