Parkhopper Pass Share October 1-11

I had issues with my PP share in May. I needed to get my pictures transfered from the groups account to my own and it was VERY obvious to the PP CM that I was not the same people and/or related to the other people on the account (half the pictures were at DLR the other half at WDW). They had no problem with it and didn't even mention it. And I'm sure it wasn't because the CM was dumb.

You're paying for the rights of the CD/pictures. I see it very different than sharing a PH. PHs clearly state they are non transferable and it is against Disney rules to share. Also, the Dis does not support sharing a PH and if they felt that sharing a PP was against Disney rules they wouldn't support PP shares.

OT: I was just looking at the ticker in your signature, Prettyprincessbelle. You and I are due to arrive at DLR in exactly the same number of days, but your ticker seems to be advancing and the Mickey ghost in mine has been in the same place for the last several days! He is staying put. Why is that? How does that happen?

But CrazyDuck....they arent paying the person $10 for copy of pictures. They are paying the person $10 b/c that person bought them a blank cd and will be paying for a padded envelope and S&H to send it afterwards.

I get how it seems "sneaky" but under the contract rules, it is legal. Like Bumbershoot said, Disney ENCOURAGES groups to go in on one account together. My extended family and I will be doing that in October. Once we pay for the prints, we own them and can make copies of them how we wish.

No one is making a profit through photopass sharing, that is the key. No one is saying "pay me $25 and i will take care of all the details for you and design your pics".

I know. Ghosty is stuck. Hopefully that is not a bad omen for me of some kind - that Mickey isn't moving any closer to the Disneyland trip arrival date!

I created a new ticker, and, of course, Ghosty slider is back at square one. He has moved even farther back than before because the new ticker just began! Maybe he was moving before, but just extra, extra, extra slowly! Oh well, if I end up going closer to Christmas, then perhaps I will have a speedier slider!

From everything I have read on this board, Crazy Duck is a witty, clever person who is a wee bit mischievous and sometimes likes to stir the pot just a little! (and that is a compliment, Crazy - it adds spice to the stew!) So the pot was stirred in this thread, that's for sure! But until I get a Photopass for the first time and actually see how it all works, and whether or not I think it would have been sensible for me to go in on a share, I can't give an educated opinion, even though I may tend to lean towards one side of the issue. But, as previously stated, I have already been active in the Day-Old Fast Pass ethical discussion and the (Late) Birthday Button debate, so those are all the causes I can crusade for at the moment!!!

I have seen the light in the fact that no matter how illegal it is someone will try and find some rediculous way to justify photopass sharing. No matter how immoral it is there will always be people who will lie (birthday buttons), cheat (fastpass runners who cut in line to rejoin their famlies), and steal (photopass share, podcast code absurers) just to save 5 minutes, 5 dollars or to get a free desert or pack of trotillas! I'm willing to let this thread die but you guys keep bumping it with your stuck ghost ticker talk

Ghosts were once people too, of course, o.k. so this is a mickey ghosty, that is different, I think.

I really would need to re-read all of the policies regarding the pp c.d. to see whether or not I missed anything, i don't believe that I had, but then sometimes I read posts late at night, and my brain can be just a tad bit tired. seriously. Like i had said before, I don't even have a camera yet, he he! not even sure what in the heck to buy? it might be a good idea for me to visit the photography board, to receive some good advice.

It seems to me like you got in the last word, or tried to, so guess you couldn't/won't let it die either! And I wanted to ask Prettyprincessbelle about the ticker because it seemed like mine wasn't working, and that had nothing to do with your thread topic, so that shouldn't have offended you. In fact, it was a diversion from the already hot Photopass issue that has riled up some folks. So just simmer down over there, CrazyDuck. You essentially just called people on this board liars, cheaters and thieves, so you shouldn't expect that people would hear that and just "let it die." If they do, then they are being kind to you, but in some cases, it could incur a wrath!

It is hard to keep up with all the threads and posts on them, Gisele. But I don't think you missed anything pertinent. I think everyone got the gist of the Photopass issue at hand. Nobody was trying to dredge that specific thing up again today, but I DID want to find out if there was anything wrong with my ticker!!

No, I only called the liars, cheaters, and thieves liars, cheaters, and thieves. So esentially they are the only ones who should be offended.

Btw the problem with the ghost was that you both didn't create the ticket on the same day. A ticket created only a week out will move faster than a ticket created a month out but they will still reach the end at the same time.

photo pass and park hoppers same same your sharing should you do it sure if you want to.

I really think if disney wanted to stop parkhopper sharing Im sure they could find a way.

Make everyone sign there tickets and show id as entering the park is 1 way Im sure there are other ways too.

If you feel good about doing it go for it if you have doubt or get busted well you will pay in the end

Oh, no, here I go again, with a comment!
What personally rather annoys me, is when a person that is not a SO.Ca. resident, purchases and uses Disney's promotional offers, now, I do not have a problem with a So.Ca. resident purchasing a resident promo ticket for a non-resident of So.Ca. and then that person using it, and apparently Disney, does not have a problem with it either, if they don't have a problem with it, neither do I. Of course, they seem to not have a problem with whom it was either that purchased the ticket. What a headache!
