I’m working on planning our June trip and I’m trying to get just a rough ide of how our days will play out. I’m struggling with finding which park will get Early Entry.

I’ve seen where somewhere it said that IoA usually has it, is this accurate? Or does it switch between the 2? And if it switches, how do I know which park will have it? I didn’t see it listed on their website for June. Or too early to know?

Hi yes it is a little early for early entry hours. It will be posted on the website hopefully by May. It depends on when your going in June. Towards the end of the month they could have it in both parks. I am not sure which one it would be in June. The last two years we were there in the summer time both parks had EE. It usually stops in the middle of August. I am going in late June this year so I am hoping both will have it by then. The front desk will be a good place to check while you are there for changes.

Thank you for your response, we will be there June 9th through the 12th.

For our trip they didn't post them until a month out or so. For reference, it was IOA for your dates last year.

Naive newbie here. If you have unlimited express pass for the week do you really need to focus on early entry? Am I missing anything if I let my kids sleep in?

Biggest thing you miss is the Harry Potter sections with minimal people in them. Much easier to explore than later in the day when they're jam packed.

Having EP with the hotel stay we have never done EE......it’s just not necessary.

A few folks on here have commented how busy it can get with EE when parks are busy and can negate the benefit of such an option.........it’s much better to leave it later in the day or even better, early evening when it’s that busy.

If your kids want to sleep, let them.

We always get up early anyway, but have never felt the need for EE. You have a week.......that’s a fabulous amount of time........

Take it easy and enjoy the EP, it really does make that much of a difference..........:D

I like going the first day because everyone is excited to be there. It's neat to see the park waking up and it's nice to have low crowds. You can really enjoy the HP sections. I also enjoy the HP sections at the end of the day for the same reason. I'd try it once and if you like it, do it again. If it winds up not being useful then you can sleep in knowing you're not missing out.
