Booking for our Christmas trip. Mom, Dad, daughter 18, daughter 17, son 12 and son 9. We are looking at Park Vue for proximity. Would we fit okay in the bunk bed room or would the two queen rooms be better space wise? The 2 girls will not sleep in the same bed so we were thinking of bringing a small inflatable bed to put in one room...would that fit in the room with one queen bed?

We’ve stayed in the one queen + bunk bed room and there is no extra floor space for anything inflatable. It’s a tight room but great for 3-4 people. The bunk bed is a single width, I think narrower than a twin (my adult sized 13 year old girl is perfectly fine in it).

I haven’t seen the 2Q+bunk rooms but I would guess they’re fairly tight too. Could you put the boys in one queen and the girls in the bunk bed?

Both are the same size rooms so you would have a little extra floor space with a queen/bunk.
FWIW, we've always gotten a 2/queen room and never felt is was small.

I'm confused, are you comparing a 2 bedroom suite with the 2q + bunk? Or, are you comparing the 2q with the 1q + bunk? I've stayed in the 2q + bunk with my family of 5 before and it felt very cramped to me. It was difficult to even find a place to park our small umbrella stroller without folding it. With 6 people I'd definitely choose a suite.

Look into the Camelot Inn and their newly renovated rooms: the two room family
Suite to be exact..

One room has two queens, the other has a king and a pullout sofa chair. The rooms “appear” roomy on the website. I’ve stayed there but never in a family suite so I can’t be sure.

A family suite at the desert Inn will give you two bathrooms which for the teen girls plus all others sounds crucial

We did the queen and bunk for a family of 4 with two boys who were at the time 9 and 6. It was a tight squeeze......

Sorry. My post was not clear. I was comparing the bunkbed room and the two room with 3 queen beds. I've booked the two bedroom so fingers crossed it is big enough! We don't need two bathrooms that would be a luxury. We have stayed at the Hojo, Candy Cane Inn, Marriott, Staybridge Inn and this time we thought we'd try one really close as we were a bit envious of those people that just walked across the street!

The bunk rooms are tiny. I would pay a little extra and see if one of their big suites is available. We just stayed in the three queen suite and it was great. One room has one queen and the other room has two queens. There’s definitely room in between the two queen beds for the air mattress, and I think there would be room in the separate room that has the one queen for an air mattress. They also have a suite with a two queen and a sleeper sofa- separate sleeping spaces. I think the area with the sleeper sofa is big enough for an air mattress.

The 2 room suites are big! We had one that had 2 queens in the bedroom but we chose a living room area/kitchen rather than a 3rd queen.

Lol we have stayed at some of those others too, but once we experienced being right across the street, we won’t stay anywhere else! We’ve now done park vue, bwppi, tropicana, carousel (so sad its gone :( ) and this time will be grand legacy, which was almost too far!
