Can I please ask what your reviews are for this hotel? I looked at different websites to read the reviews, but I like to hear it from you all cause I trust you so much when it comes to all this fun Disney stuff. The plan was to stay at the Tropicana, but it looks like it could come down to Park Vue if we cant get a room at the Trop. so please help!

I have no review , but i am staying at the park vue inn this may. Why location location. I dont really like the long walks

It was a good hotel. Nothing fancy. The rooms were clean and updated. A small fridge and microwave in each room. The bathrooms were large. They had a free breakfast in the mornings: cereal, donuts, fruit, coffee, milk, juice, muffins, toast, bagels, etc. The walk was so close!! The pool was the only drawback. It was so small!! But they always had clean towels out, plenty of tables/chairs, no life guard. The gift shop had lots of junk to buy (lol). There was an IHOP right next door, but don't go there. It cost us over $90 for our family to eat lunch there, and the food was awful (we were banging our pancakes against the plates). It was cheaper to eat in the park.

So, if you're looking for a luxury hotel, don't stay there. If you haven't had problems with staying in a Holiday Inn Express, or a Days Inn, then you will like it there. If you have stayed in a Value hotel at WDW (like Pop), the rooms are a bit bigger at the Park Vue.

HTH.

Thanks, yeah I am not looking for anything fancy by any means. I just need a place to shower and to sleep. I just didnt want a hotel that was dirty, or smelled aweful.

The Parkvue Inn is pretty good. We just got back from our stay there.
House keeping come at weird times, one morning it wasn't yet 9am and they were knocking on the door, other days we'd come back for a break and the room wouldn't be made up at 4pm. Generally they were pretty good.

They're undergoing some construction at the moment, it doesn't affect you at all, except the registration has moved from the front to into the car park.

They give you a nice fruit basket on arrival. It was very handy. We got to the hotel after a long flight and it was nice to not have to worry about finding a grocery store at least until the next day

Rooms arent a bad size, we only had a single king room, which meant there was just the one king size bed in the room. There was enough space for our suitcases to be put out of the way, but that's about it.
In our room there was just the table that the TV was on and two bedside tables. The sink was in the bathroom. There was just the two of us, so it wasn't ever a problem.

I agree with Alicenwonder about not eating at IHOP. I was a bit disapointed because when we visited the States when I was young I loved IHOP. So it wasn't very nice... We were told to steer clear of Captain Kidds as well. So I can't comment onit from personal experience, but like I said, we were told to stay away...

Mickey and Me - the gift shop - is pretty good. I had a cold while there and we were able to pick up some cough syrup from there, as well as some bandaids for my DBF who got blisters.

It's in a great spot. Really close to the parks and walking distance to the 7 11 on the corner of Harbour and Katella.

That's all I can think of right now, but if I remember something else I'll let you know...

Yeah I heard eating at Captain Kids wasnt good at all. Actually every time I have been there they have been handing out free cupons to eat free. I betcha its for kids but even still, after the reviews I have heards and the fact they are handing out free meals to pull people in, I dont think it can be all that great.

Ive never had a problem in the Ihop before but I havent been there in awhile. Perhaps the quality has gone down a bit. But I rather eat at Mimi's or go into the park and eat at the Riverbelle Terrace in Adventureland.

Glad to hear it is an ok hotel... we just booked a surprise trip because of fantastic flight prices at the end of April and many of the hotels are already booked, so we are trying the Park Vue.... :confused3
