Some friends and I were talking about wouldn't it be great if you could stay on Toy Story Mania for unlimited time. Even be in front of each screen for 5-10 minutes to practice getting a higher score.

Maybe have a tour before park opens for 1 hour or so. Of course pay for the tour. $50+.

I know Disney doesn't take ideas from boards, but would really love to do this.

What do you think? Another idea for a tour?

Would have absolutely no interest. Love the ride, but once and done for us. There was a TSMM "cheat" posted on here a while back with strategies on how to get super high scores. Maybe search for that?

Being a semi-retired teacher(I sub now) I like to learn. I have watched at least 10 videos on how to get more points. Also talked to people in line, wrote down and studied notes, and rode as much as I can. What is going against me is my memory, living in WA. state, and my response speed!

Just would be great to play longer each ride. Will keep practicing.

I actually like this idea! Love TSMM and have never been able to ride more than twice in one day (once at RD and one with FP)... and my score could use the extra practice!!

It could only be done as a pre park opening tour, and would have to be limited to a very small number of people each day. There would only be time for a couple of cars to cycle through the ride once, if you had 10 minutes in front of each screen. Getting a spot on this tour would become the Disney Grail.

We always try to ride 5x per day, once with a FP+ then 4 more times during the last hour of operation when the line is really short.

Robo gave me some tips awhile back on how to work the trigger without wearing yourself out after multiple rerides, but my scores are still pretty bad.

I've never seen the ride stop, though I'm sure it has, I guess you would get lucky if you stopped in front of a target or two.

We have done a couple of after-hours events at TSMM where we could ride as many times as we wanted to just by walking around from the entrance back to the load area. After 3 ride-throughs we were done. The repetitive strain on these old hands, wrist, elbows etc catches up with you.

I'm exhausted after 4 straight rides, but here's a tip from Robo that I'm going to try this summer at California Adventure.

"Don't fire with your wrist. Put the rope-pull between your middle and index finger (like the Cub Scout salute) but your palm facing you) and, to fire, just make a "come here" motion with your fingers. You can rapid-fire for long periods with no wrist firing fatigue."

Tried that. All it does is put more strain on your elbow and forearms.
