Park to park worth it?

So with the new stuff at Universal Studios, is a park to park ticket worth it or necessary?

If I'm not mistaken, the new Hogwarts Express goes from one park to the other, if this is correct then I would assume I would need a park to park ticket to experience this. Unless there is some type of way they separate those with park to park tickets getting off the train from those with park to park.

Anyways, we're going to Florida for like 3 weeks or maybe a little longer in November and will be getting 3 or 4 day universal tickets and wanted to know if we should pay the extra for park to park. It's a decent amount of money extra for 5 people and I'm not one that likes to waste money.

If you want Hogwarts Express, you must get the park-to-park. When you enter Kings Cross (or Hogsmeade train station), you do the ticket/finger scan just like when you enter the park.

We went for two days and did park-park with unlimited express. If we had been going for more days and at a less crowded time, I think I might have just gotten the p-t-p for one day and committed to a specific park for the others. For me at least, riding HE was fun but not something I couldn't live without on subsequent days.

I say yes to park to park. You won't want to miss the Hogwarts Express! They check your ticket each time to board the train.

This was our first trip using park to park and i'd say it was worth it. Its very easy to walk between the parks and of course if you want to try the train you'll have to have it. The parks are very busy right now with the new HP additions so the park hopper will give you a lot more flexibility to be sure you can hit everything while you're there. They do have people at each train station that can upgrade tickets to park to park. Not sure if that upgrades for all days or just one though. HW Express is worth trying at least once imo. The ride is different so you'd want it to try it from both parks.

it is cheaper to to the 2 or 3 multi-day ptp tickets than buying a 2 day ptp and one single day base ticket.


if you add a day to a mulit day pass, that added day will have the same features as the pass
