Park tix through AAA: help!

I think we've decided to buy our park tix from our AAA outlet right before we leave for WDW in November. I have a few questions about this:

1. Are the tickets paper or plastic credit-card type, or just a receipt for tix? If they are paper, can they be exchanged for the plastic ones upon arrival and added to our room key at the San/Dolphin? If they are a receipt for tix, can we exchange them for the actual park tix at the S/D?

2. Once you purchase MYW passes (we will add the hopper feature and maybe the water-fun-and-more option) when do they expire after purchase? Just want to know so I can figure out how far in advance to buy them.

I'm just wondering if the AAA savings will be worth having to carry around tickets AND room keys, particularly if the AAA tix are paper and will wind up getting wet and mangled!

They will be paper tickets. They cannot be added to your S/D room key because the S/D are not Disney resorts. No tickets of any kind can be added to those keys and you cannot set up charging in the parks on the S/D keys either.

They don't expire after purchase. They expire 14 days from first use of the ticket. You can add the PH and WPF&M before using the tickets or anytime right through the 14th day. Prices are fixed and not dependent on the number of days your ticket has.

You'll have to make that decision for yourself. If you want plastic tickets, order them online from Disney. But you will still have two cards to carry.

Does anybody know if you can get 10day PH, No expiration through AAA? I saw them on Maple Leaf, but not on the AAA website...but I've never tried to buy through AAA before...Is it more trouble than it's worth?

You can , but you have to go into the office to order. It takes a week or so
