the tix i received on the 2005 program were 1 day park hoppers.. i received 2 at the beginning of the program, and as a reward for doing the advantage program, i got 2 more halfway thru the program.. so all together i got 4 tix...they may have changed that though.

That definitely changed. Now, with your maingate pass, you can get 3 people in up to 6 times during your tenure with Disney. To answer your question, they are park hopper passes. Enjoy! :)

i had that option as well, but he asked about tickets.. not about just bringing in guests...i also received those 4 tix plus the maingate policy of 3 friends up to 6 times a year..

do you have to be present to get someone in using the maingate pass? Like if i have to work one day, can my parents still get into the parks without me signing them through?

have to be present.. otherwise how could they verify they are family members of yours? all about validation, thats all..

CPs aren't eligible for the complimentary summer and winter season tickets anymore though. Only a seasonal Blue Main Entrance Pass and the single use Holiday Celebration comp. admission (if participating in the fall) are issued to CPs currently.

Yeah, you need to be with your guests at the turnstiles when they first visit the parks that day. Not sure if it helps, but you can just guest them in- you don't have to go into the parks with your guests. The only person who can use the Main Entrance Pass to admit guests (and get them their one day park hoppers) is the person named on it... so there's no way around that.
