Park Time Question....

I posted this on the families board but thought here might help too..........

Kinda silly but was checking.....if the park says it closes at 7 does thatmean no one in after 7....everyone out by 7??? We come in on Feb 26th and have a 6pm dinner resi at 50's PT.....but then on the calendar it says the park closes at 7? Maybe I need a cup of coffee but im just not getting it?? Does that mean we only have one hour to eat and run? Should I change my resi time??

I made a mistake with my last bit of info.

No matter what, Disney wouldn't have booked you for a time when they felt it was bad.

The park does close at 7. I believe this means the rides are no longer running, but I don't know if you would be rushed out. There have been times I have been in the MK and it has taken 45 minutes to leave the park after it closed

Everything in the park closes at 7pm. When you finish eating, you'll likely stroll through an empty park to the front.

We purposely plan Epcot reservations this way because we LOVE strolling through Epcot after it's emptied out.

If the park closes at 7:00, that means that no one else will be allowed to enter the attraction lines, the counter service places and kiosks will close up. The stores on the way out will still be open (for that last minute purchase, of course). Table service restaurants will be open and fully functional for anyone who is still inside and eating. You will not be rushed out the door. I know that Chef de France was open one night until well after 10:00 as we walked past it when Epcot had closed at 9:00. Yes, you are still allowed to remain in the parks for a reasonable amount of time after "closing".
