When purchasng tickets in advance can you still apply the DVC discount???

No. The only DVC discount on passes is for UPH which can only be purchased at the resort once checked-in. The passes will be encoded on the room ID.

Check the prices of some of the ticket resellers. Prices at better than disney with the DVC discount. I bought from Mapleleaf Tickets and got a great deal on a 5 day hoppper with 4 plus visits.
