Is there somewhere to purchase tickets once we get to Orlando other than at the actual parks? We leave Friday so its too late to order them online. Thanks!

If you're staying onsite you can purchase them at your resort- that will save you time at the gate. Otherwise, there are plenty of signs around Disney showing tickets for sale but some of them look pretty sketchy :)

Thanks! We're staying off site actually at Orange lake. Was hoping we'd still be able to get a discount somehow.

I'm assuming if you're staying off-site you'll have a car at your disposal. I believe that you can still buy from Undercover Tourist and use their Orlando Pick-Up location.

It sounds like you just have to give them 1 business day's notice.

If you're not familiar with UT, just do a search for them on these boards. They're pretty trusted by a lot of people here at the DIS.

(Not only do I not work for them, I've never used them myself as we buy AP's through Disney to get our DVC discount, but I have heard a lot of good things about them on these boards, and I have friends who have purchased tickets from them and they had a smooth transaction.)

If you are staying at Orange Lake be careful.

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum, especially Post #18, you can see the current gate price list. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature.

There are three possibilities there. Usually they will sell you a voucher which can be exchanged for actual tickets at any ticket booth.

They can sell regular MYW tickets. Compare the prices they are charging with the prices in Post #18 (add 6.5% tax to any prices in the chart). Make sure you are not paying more than gate.

They may sell you "Touch of Magic" tickets which are available only through time-share sellers. These can be two three, or four days, with either one park per day or hopping. In addition to the major theme parks you can have one visit to a water park or DQ. There is no comparable ticket available at the gare. Note that these tickets cannot be upgraded or modified in any way.

And last, they may want to sell you actual "live" tickets. If they sell you these make sure you get a receipt which states that they are new and unused tickets and include the serial numbers on the receipt, and then verify them at any park ticket office or Guest Relations Office.

I agree with kathyell here. You can still order online through Undercovertourist and just opt to pick them up. So far I've purchased our WDW tickets and US/IOA tickets through them. I ordered them in the morning (9:00am mst) and by the afternoon, they had already processed the order and had them shipped out. Got them in 3-4 days.

I would also go with the pick-up option, since you will have a car. If you order them since now, they will be available for pick-up by the time you get to Orlando.

Also, if you subscribe to the MouseSavers.com newsletter, you can get an additional discount on tickets through undercovertourist. You probably wouldn't get this month's newsletter in time, but if you want to send me a PM with your e-mail address, I can forward you a copy of the latest newsletter. The newsletter has a link to UT with the discounted prices.
