Park tickets with split stay question

I apologize I couldn't find an answer to this....

If we do a room-only for 4 nights, then a package for 5 nights with free dining-our 9 day park tickets would be linked to the second half of our trip. Can we begin using them with our room only reservation? Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks!

You have 14 days to use tickets once they are activated. You will be fine to use them on your room only ressy.

Great-thank you! I was worried they wouldn't be active until we checked in for the package dates.

You can activate your tickets up to 10 days before the start of the package reservation, but you will not be able to make any FP+ reservations for the room only days until the tickets are activated.
