So, we just got back from a non-DVC stay at Fort Wilderness. We had 3- 5 day park tickets that we bought a few years back, before the newest expiration date policy. We also had 1- 5 day ticket bought after the newest expiration date policy. And I have really come to HATE this new policy. Having a 5 day ticket only good for 8 days (I think that's what it is) when you don't buy them in a package is terrible. We stayed at Fort Wilderness for 12 days but we had to use our tickets by day 8.
Anyways, it got me thinking about DVC stays. Is there a way to "link" your tickets to a DVC stay so they would be good for the length of stay? We normally stay a week at a time. If we buy a 2 day ticket, it would only be valid for 4 days, but if we buy a "package" they would be good for the full 7 days. So is there someone we can call to have that changed to the length of our stay or are we just SOL and have to deal with it?
Any help would be appreciated.
Mike
