Park Tickets during FD

Do I have to purcase theme park tickets in order to get the Free Dining? I was thinking about doing a quick 3 night 4 days vacation this September... I thought it might be a nice change of pace to skip the parks, and enjoy some other things that Disney has to offer outside of the parks. Can you add FD to a room only reservation?

You need to purcahse the minimum of a 1 day park ticket per person of your party to be eligible for free dining

Yes. You must purchase a minimum of 1 day MYW base ticket in order to take advantage of the "FREE DINING".

NO. You need to change your original room only reservation to the Free Dining Package. When you call to get the FD deal, the CM will probably have to book you a new FD package THEN cancel your room only reservation. If you have a discounted room only reservation, you will not be able to keep that.
