Park ticket options

DH will be joining us in DLP for a couple of days so rather than add him to the package I think it will be more cost effective to buy him park tickets for a couple of days. As far as I can tell you can get a 2 day 2 park ticket online for around £100 (although this will probably go up in April). Does anyone know of any better deals around?

I will have Dream passport so could get him a discount on the gate price. Does anyone know what this is at the moment? Having said that, I assume I can only do this at the ticket office at DLP, which could mean queuing up on our arrival day (we should be getting to the park around 10-11am on the Sunday) in which case I would rule this option out.

Any thoughts/advice?

Thanks

you do get a discount for buying park tickets with your AP - but only on one-day park tickets, so you'd have to queue up each morning you wanted a park ticket at the DLP ticket booths to get your OH a park ticket that way.

I believe its 15% off gate price for the day ticket with your Dream AP, but you can check on DLRPMagic or the French version of the DLP site.

For 2 days, I'd just look for the cheapest 2-day ticket from online agents and buy it before you go (or even ebay, for any park tickets which don't expire before your trip dates).

There is a deal at the moment for tickets for friends for ¬25 euros per day, that must be bought at the gate with the AP holder present. There is a limit of 5 per AP per week. Its similar to the 20th Anniversary special. I think its still valid?

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I've had an email about the 25 euro tickets but it only runs until March unfortunately. I had a look through my AP emails from last year and it doesn't look like that offer was on during April and May so it will probably be the same this year.

Ah I see. I meant still valid for your trip, shame it isn't :( We're using it in February for one of my dearest friends and its a brilliant deal.
For anyone else reading, it's €21 1 day/2 park for top 3 tiers of AP's and €25 for the bottom one (cheapest). Must be bought on the gate with ticket and AP holder present. Can only be used on the day it's bought. Valud until 31st March 2014.

That's fab - hope something like this happens again in October!

Btw, when did you get this email? I have an annual pass (activated in December) but not had any emails yet.....

I've never got one:-/ I read a lot of French sites and you don't see these deals advertised over here (like the Buffalo Bill AP 40% discount that happens), but its quite common to get these kind of offers. Its called a "Billet Ami" and is a brilliant offer :)
