Park ticket needed to ride monorail?

Our flight gets in around 7pm, so no parks that day. We're staying at CR, so I'd love to hop on the monorail for one trip around and then get back to the room to watch Wishes at 10pm. Is it possible to use the monorail without using tickets and how long does it take to go around once?

No tickets necessary to ride the monorail.

The resort loop may take 20-25 minutes to go around one time (it pauses at each stop for a few minutes). That time doesn't include the time you may spend waiting for a train to arrive so you can board it.

You could also take the Ferry over to the Wilderness Campground or The Wilderness Resorts and see WISHES while riding.

The mono-rail also goes to Epcot and back. This takes about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.
