I have a question about using a Park Ticket Holder. I saw this on a website about a holder:

it clips to your belt or waistband with a strong spring clip. Store your ticket, room keys or annual pass in the resealable plastic pouch. The holder cord can be extended up to 20 inches, making it easier to access your tickets.

Question: Do you have to take your park ticket card OUT of the holder to actually use it? Or can you just scan your card when you enter the park? (My work ID works even if it's in your wallet just by scanning the wallet over the scanner.)

I'm guessing that you have to physically place the park ticket into the Fast Pass machine and physically put the room key card into the hotel door to use them. If you have to physically take the park ticket/card out of the holder constantly, what good is the holder? I'm sure the plastic holder doesn't prevent the card from being demagnitized, does it?

You must remove the ticket for every use, entering and FP (it gets pulled fully into the readers).

No kind of plastic will have any effect on magnetic properties, so it will not stop (or cause) a ticket to get de-magnetized.
