Park Ticket for 1 year old?

Hi All....I was just curious will be at the World this coming February for my little boy's first Birthday and didn't know if I need to purchase a park ticket to Magic Kingdom for him? Can anyone tell me if I need to buy him a ticket or is he free until 2 years of age? Thanks for any info! Laurie :)
