Park strategy in June

Hello,

My family (4 adults, 2 kids and 1 baby) will be going to Disney June 2, 2020 - June 10, 2020 we will have a 6 day park ticket without the hopper.

I was curious the strategy to take on choosing parks to attend. Arrival day, departure day and one day during the duration will be nonpark days. Should we attend parks with EMH and that have parties scheduled?

That’s usually the plan we have. We usually do 3 park days then a day off then 3 more and schedule a late night the night before the non park day. We’ve never done a dessert party but if we did that’s the day I would do it. We usually have 2 MK days, 1 in each group of 3. I would recommend not going to many EMH days unless your party is good at getting up early on vacation. We put HS and AK in the last 3 park days to make it easier to get FOP and SDD FPs. Other than that, we just schedule what seems to make the most sense.

Most people say that party days at MK have lower crowds so you might want to hit one but you won’t be able to see HEA that night.

I'm not aware of any parties scheduled in June-but they add them all the time! Villains after hours doesn't close the park early for other guests. But yes, I would use EMH in MK and HS especially, and schedule 2 MK days. I also recommend making AK and HS nearer the end of you trip, like 60+4, 60+5, for the same reasons PP mentioned-the ability to get FOP in AK and SDD in HS. HS would be my other choice for 2 days, as you will be there after Runaway Railway opens. You may could do a full plus a half day in HS, and use second half of the HS half day to go to Disney Springs or check out the other resorts.
