We are staying offsite & want 8 day hoppers. I was going to buy them at Park Savers for $441.59 (adult) BUT realized that the 7 day is just $394.46.

Question 1: I'm better off buying the 7 day now from Park Savers and then adding the 8th day after we arrive, correct? It will cost me much less than $47.13/person to add 1 extra day, right? How can I learn exactly how much it will cost to add the 8th day before we arrive?

Also, we want to add the Waterparks & More feature. The last time we went (3 years ago) I remember we didn't add this feature until after we arrived and had activated our passes. I can't remember why, but we saved money this way.

Question 2: Should we wait to add the Waterparks & More feature after we arrive? From my research that will be $26, right?

Thanks much in advance for any help!:thanks:

Use the chart found here to see what your 7-day park hopper is worth and what the ticket you want (8-day park hopper with water park fun & more) costs. The difference in price is what you will pay to upgrade one ticket.

You would not be able to add water park fun and more to the Parksavers 7-day hopper until you arrive at the parks. Parksavers has a 5-day hopper with waterpark fun and more that sells for $73 less than the gate price. The 7-day hopper is also selling for $73 less than the gate price. Either way, you will end up paying the difference at guest services to upgrade to the ticket you want.

Personally, I would go with the 7-day hopper so that I could make FP+ reservations in advance for most of my days.

Subtract the price you pay from the gate price listed. Whichever has the largest savings is the best deal. If it will meet your needs, buy it. Keep in mind that you can only book FP+ in advance for the number of days on your ticket.

Thanks to you both! supersnoop: I didn't think about not being able to make FP+ reservations for that last/8th day until we arrive & add it, but overall it's worth it to save $.
Thanks again!

It doesn't have to be your 'last' day that you don't make your FP+ reservations for. Pick a day when you won't need them as much (HS maybe?) and book your other 7 park days. Then once you add the day you can add FP+ reservations for the new day

Also if you buy water park and more tickets, but only want to upgrade to an annual pass (not the platinum one) DO NOT use any of your water park and more entitlements. Otherwise they will only allow you to upgrade to the annual pass that includes water parks.
