Park Reservations for Different Types of Tickets in Party?

Hello. I know when the Park Reservation system first started, we were told that everyone in the party had to have the same type of ticket in order to make the park reservations together. I was wondering at the time how long that would last because some families would have members with AP and other members who don't do AP. We are planning to come next Summer with our son's family - 7 grandchildren so 11 of us in total. We can get the Military Promotional tickets, but only 6 of them. So the other five would need to be regular "Magic Your Way" tickets. Does anyone have any experience with this? TIA

The only time you could not book people together with different tickets is some are not resort guests and other are,

If everyone is on the reservation, then it can be booked the same time. I have done that with both APs and MYW tickets since everyone was listed as a resort guest,

But, if, for example, you had family staying off site with APs and some staying in Disney, you can not book at the same time since those tickets pull from different park reservation buckets,

So, if all are onsite guests, you will be fine making it all at the same time.

Thank you so much! This makes perfect sense.

I wasn't sure where to post this question, so starting here. Currently, CMs can only hold three park reservations at a time using their main gate pass. Does this also apply if they have a resort reservation? I'm a DVC member and will be booking a two week trip pretty soon for fall '21. My DIL is a CM and so I was wondering if she'll be limited to the three days at-a-time rule or whether it would differ since she'll be on my room reservation.

CMs tickets may be the only ones I am not sure about. My DD is furloughed right now and it doesn’t look like her Main Gate pass is working for the reservation I have her on in October in case she comes.

Yikes. Well, I guess there's time to see how things play out. I'll need an extra dose of patience with trying to plan our vacation but already prepared my family for the possibility of being separated during our trip.

Thanks so much for the response. :)
