I'm the planner for our Nov/Dec trip with extended family, and while I've planned many trips to WDW, the new park reservation system has me confused. I've read everything I can find on it, but I still have questions. So for those who have been since this requirement began -
I am an AP holder, but some of the people on our trip won't be. Can I make park reservations for our whole party for our length of stay since I do have an AP?
Our vacationing style is to come and go to the parks. We might walk into EPCOT in the morning and do some things, go back to the resort to swim, and go back to EPCOT for nighttime stuff. If I have a park reservation for the day, can we leave the park and go back later (I get the park hopping rules, but I'm wondering if it's the same park, can we leave and go back.) TIA

As an AP, if you are also staying on-site, you can book park passes for the length of your stay.

Your friends and family traveling with that are not AP will need to have tickets linked to their account in order to proceed with PP reservations. The tickets can either be part of a package or purchased separately, they just have to be linked to each guest.

Yes, you can exit and return to the same park.

APs can be at a slight disadvantage if staying offsite as you are limited to just 3 parks reservations. If staying onsite, you (AP) can make park reservations for your length of stay. Those with regular tickets can make reservations for the number of ticket days, whether onsite or offsite.

Thank you. We are staying onsite, and I was hoping to make the park reservations for our whole party. What I read was that AP holders can make them for length of stay, but those with other tickets can only do 3 days.

The only people with a 3 day limit are APs staying off site. If you are staying onsite, everyone can book length of stay.

Just want to clarify.... a resort guest can book for the number of days they have a valid ticket for. So have a 5 day ticket, you can book 5 park reservations, no matter how long your length of stay is. Just want to make sure anyone reading understands, coz lots of times people don’t get a ticket for every day of their stay.

Hi there … hoping you can advise if there is a “park reservation 101” thread that you can point me to?

Thx.
