Park re-entry on a base ticket

I know I should know this, but refresh my memory: let's say I purchase a base ticket and exit the park for a PM break. If I want to re-enter the same park I visited in the AM after I return from break, am I using another day on my ticket for that re-entry? I'm explaining Disney to some family members and wanted to be sure about this point before I said it (we always purchase park hopper tickets).

Thanks.

No, just make sure you are stamped prior to leaving. Upon re-entry, they will ask for your ticket and see the stamp.

There are no stamps anymore since the introduction of the biometric scans. You just need your ticket.

You can exit and re-enter the same park as many times as you want with a base ticket on any one day.
I agree with the previous poster about the hand stamps. They were eliminated last year with the bio-scan at the turnstiles. The computer system knows who you are and whether or not you can enter a park.
