Park Pass Thoughts - December

Hi all! Looking for suggestions for park pass choices week before xmas. How would you do 5 days, Dec 17- 22? have hoppers and will probably do MK twice. No MK xmas party tix. We arrive around noon on 17th and leave late afternoon on 22nd. Staying on property.

Was thinking no parks on arrival day, since we’ll be tired and won’t get the most out of them. Might do stuff at FtW. I’ve always considered arrival day a waste of park ticket but maybe not this time?

Will the crowds be insane on Sat 18th? No xmas party that day so we were going to choose that MK but feels like maybe a bad choice.

We have very similar plans, travelling from Canada from the 16-21 and staying on resort. We are only going to do 3 days, allowing for one day of rest before moving to RP at Universal.
I think we're going to avoid the 18th all together. It is the first day of Christmas break and I learned not to do MK on Saturdays ever. And there is the after hours party on the 19th. So thinking AK on 17th, Epcot on 19th and MK on 20th? But I love MK and want to do that first! Oh, the decisions
