When we go to WDW, we have our park passes put on the room keys - that way, we only have one card to keep with us. I imagine we can do the same thing at DL, but what if we buy our passes before we get there? Can they take the passes that we buy and put them on the room keys?

I know about the discounted aRes tickets, but because we're only getting 3-day passes we won't save much - and we'd have to go to a ticket booth to pick them up anyway. If we buy them direct from Disney online, we can print them at home and have them with us already. So - can we take those paper passes that we printed at home and have the check-in desk add them to our room keys?

Any thoughts on all of this?? :confused3

Alrighty, then . . . So, if I get my tickets online and print them at home, it'll just be a big sheet of paper per person that I have to keep with me?? Can I get the papers switched? What do we get if we just wait to get them at the gate?

take your e-ticket to the front gate, not the ticket booth, they will scan it then give you a park ticket.

Yes just take your printed out sheets right to the front gate entry, they scan them right there and print out a ticket for each sheet. Its super easy.

Also, a little recommendation, print out a second copy of your e tickets as a receipt/proof of purchase and keep them in a safe place in your bags.

When my son was around 9 we gave him the priviledge of keeping his ticket in his lanyard. He accidentaly threw it away along with some expired FP's! Luckily when I went to guest services, I had run a second printout of the e-tickets as a backup. They had no trouble issuing us a new ticket with this proof that I had purchased.

Needless to say, he is now 15, and we still carry his tickets;)

Oh dear! I hope you know now that FPs don't expire on the same day! You can use them on the date stamped on them even after your window has passed. :thumbsup2

Good tip about keeping a backup. I always have my friends take a picture of their hopper or a copy of their e-ticket.

Yes we knew all about that, even back then... he however did not listen when I told him this, and being the rule follower that he was and is, decided to take matters into his own hands, unknown to me at the time. Great panic ensued, but luckily, all was saved with my extra copies, and great CM's in Town Hall.
