I read somewhere that the park is sometimes open 3 hours later for Disney Hotel guest. What can you tell me about this? Also I had heard that there is a different kind of fast pass, maybe one you can buy that can be used more often than the regular one?
Thanks, Cheryl

:welcome: to The DisBoards, Cheryl!
They are called EMH (Extra Magic Hours) and allow guests staying on property to enter the parks early and stay later on particular days. If you go to the Park Calendars on disneyworld.com, you can see which park for which day. You will need your KTTK card (your room key) to enter the parks early, and you will need to show the card to get a wristband to stay after normal closing. It's a great perk of staying onsite, IMHO.
As for a "different "fastpass? We have never seen one. HTH! :upsidedow

Univeral Orlando offers an "Express Pass" for sale. People frequently get confused between UO and WDW---they are NOT the same. Disney's Fastpasses are available to anyone.

(Currently) there are no different kinds of fastpasses you can buy.

There are one-time one-ride "fastpasses" that are given out under individualized circumstances such as after some ride breakdowns, or if you find one of the (not always well) hidden paintbrushes early in the morning at Tom Sawyer's Island (Magic Kingdom).

This year there is the Dream Fastpass which is given out in very small quantities at random (like a door prize) that allows one usage that day (only) on each fastpass participating ride. It works similarly to Universal's Express Pass that is offered for sale to any guest.
