Park of Dead Disney Attractions would be my favorite park

Just felt like reminiscing a bit of the way Disney World used to be - it's gone through many changes, and I can't say I like some of the ones over the last two years. Others I accepted or got used to, but I always dreamed of having an entire Disney park where the rides and attractions that close or die or are replaced could 'retire' to - nothing but the old original rides and attractions. I'm sure few people under the age of 25 would go to such a park, since they wouldn't have any nostalgic connection to the old rides, and because most aren't connected to any current intellectual Disney movie or TV property...but would others visit such a park? Here's what I'd like to see that retro park look like:

From Magic Kingdom:
Swan Boats
Mike Fink Keelboats
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
If You Had Wings
20 Thousand Leagues Under the Sea
Snow White's Scary Adventures

From Epcot:
Horizons
the original Living Seas with movie and hydrolators
World of Motion
Original Universe of Energy (which could also rotate time with Ellen's Energy Adventure)
Maelstrom

From Disney MGM/DHS:
Backlot Tour
Lights, Motors/Action!
Great Movie Ride

Entertainment by Off Kilter, Mo Rockin, and Mulch, Sweat & Shears

Restaurants/Bars:
Adventurer's Club
Top of The World Supper Club
Polynesian Tropical Luau Dinner Show
Alfredo's Ristorante
Electric Umbrella

Because attractions are always closing or being upgraded/themed, this park would always be growing. And I may be forgetting or missing some attractions that should already be there. Would you pay to go to this park?

Great minds think alike. My husband and I have discussed this idea MANY times. We would absolutely pay to go to this park.

In addition to your list:

Magic Kingdom:
Skyway
Frontierland Shooting Gallery (I heard that is gone now?)
War Canoes

Recreate Fort Wilderness on a smaller scale (no camping just things to do and enjoy)
FTWRR (railroad)
River Country
Marshmallow Marsh
Totem poles

Nope. More for you and others sharing your fondness for bringing back "dead" attractions.

I prefer to keep my nostalgia limited to classic Disney movies.

I think this is a fantastic idea and I would definitely pay to attend this 'Dead' park. The Great Movie Ride closing was the one that really hurt for me. It was the introduction for my love of some amazing classic movies like Casablanca.

I would definitely pay to visit a park like this, but I don't think it would ever happen in reality. It would not appeal to anyone that does not already have nostalgia for these defunct rides. Doesn't mean I wouldn't love it though. I never got to experience a lot of these so it would be cool to see them.

I would go just to ride the Great Movie Ride again. Getting rid of it instead of giving it an update was a mistake IMO. That was my favorite ride as a kid and it introduced me to a lot of those classic films that are now some of my all time favorites. Would also love to go to the Adventurer's Club, it seemed so cool.

Well I'm not the only one. I think the three or four of us are enough for Disney to justify building that park. On with it! ;)
