Park Merchandise Returns

Sorry for asking the same old questions time and time again. Does anyone know if you can return defective park merchandise once you return home? I picked up a t-shirt at the International Gateway gift shop on our last evening in the World, the design is off center.

Who can I contact, thanks for the help?
 
I would contact Guest Relations. I had a pair of shorts i bought and they forgot to remove the security tag. Unfortunately I did not notice this until I got home. I returned two months later with the merchandise and receipt to the same store. Explained the situation and the cm removed the tag for me with no problem.

Is the T-shirt gray trimmed in blue and have Mickey and the Epcot logo? I bought one of those in Feb and the design was off center. Looked really weird. I saved it and took it back to MouseGears last week. Would you believe all the shirts looked like that? Boy, was I surprised! Clerk informed me that they are made like that. He still took it back, but I can not believe they actually made shirts like that! Oh well, this does not answer your question does it?
 
It's so funny I came across your post right now! I just got off the phone with WDW Mail Order! I purchased one of the new Happiest Celebration attenna toppers for a friend while I was there last week. I got it out yesterday to give it to her, and I wanted to pull the price tag off. It was stuck to the front of the topper, directly over the 50th celebration insignia. It was stuck so hard, that as I tried to pull off the tag, the insignia started to pull off with it! In fact, most of the top of the insignia had already come off onto the back of the tag. So, I just called, and the lady told me to give her the SKU number off the reciept, and she put in an order for a replacement for me. I also have to fax a copy of the receipt to her, which I am getting ready to go do at my husband's office. It was really easy, and she didn't say anything about returning the defective one, so I guess I just keep it. You need to call 407-363-6200, and have your receipt handy.
 

You used to be able to return merchandise purchased at the parks at the Disney Stores. I don't know if you can still do that now that they are owned by the Children's Place.
 
I had purchased a snow globe from one of the stores and when I got it home (they gave me one that was already boxed so I never saw the exact one - knew the style) - it had glue all over it... not pretty - so I called and they took it back and sent me a new one very easy... and helpful.

I don't remember what number I called sorry - but the process was easy...

Hey dawgsgirl, I guess if all of the shirts were printed that way, I will just wear it around the house and not worry about a return. Too bad, the design is cute.
 
My sister purchased something for my niece on our last trip in December at the gift shop at AKL. It did not work so she emailed the address that is on the reciept. They told her she could mail it back with $7 and they would return her one. So she decided not to do anything. I brought it back with me when I was just there - they didn't have anything like it so I just got the $ back.
 
You can still do returns of park merchandise at The Disney Stores....however, it is required that you have your receipt with you and it must be within 60 days of the date of purchase. If those two criteria aren't met, TDS cannot and will not take the return in which case you will need to appeal to Guest Relations. Since we're now owned by Children's Place now, I don't know how much longer we'll be accepting returns.
