Park maps

I've ordered the custom maps from Disney but I really like the maps here on the DIS. Does anyone know tricks for printing them so that they fit on one page or at least a good way to split them?

You can always change your printer settings to reduce them to fit on a page. Usually your printer is set up to %100 by default, but you can play with that number until you get them on a single page. I will look at them more closely and see if there are any more tricks and get back to ya!

Thanks, D. The maps are the ones here on the DIS under Theme Parks. Each park has a map with attractions, dining and shopping. I tried changing margins and using legal paper settings and still end up with a little bit chopped off the side. I didn't see how I could change the printer setting to all on one page.

o.k., let me look at it real quick and I'll see if i can come up with any thing else you can try. just give me a minute, and i'll repost anything i can come up with!

o.k., once you click on a map, say the magic kingdom one, then go under "file", then click "print". a window should pop up, each printer is a little different, but almost the same options. o.k., look in the little window that popped up for "preferences" and click on it, then look for "advanced" and click on it, then you should see something that says "scaling, or scale" and it will have percentages, and mostly all defaults have it on %100. Try messing with the percentage number. Like maybe even go 50% to see how that works.

if worse comes to worse, i have some brochures here that have the maps on them and i would be more than happy to send them to ya!
