Not having been to DL since the early 80s, I entered yesterday just as the Magic Happens parade got to the Main st entrance. I watched the fireworks from the Tomorrowland side of the hub and fought my way to the second Fantasmic BB seating. It felt crazy crowded to me.

I never went in the 80's. But I went several times a week in the early 2000s and crowds are drastically different now! Back then, we would sometimes get to ride Big Thunder several times in a row because no one was in line. Walkways weren't all congested like they are now. That's the biggest issue I have. I miss being able to just meander about and enjoy looking at everything.

I have a WDW AP and this feels like high season. But the walkways are wider at much of WDW
