How come the MK is closing so early this summer? It's usually open til 12 most nights in the summer.

How come the MK is closing so early this summer? It's usually open til 12 most nights in the summer.

1. It's cheaper to close early. Disney has been into cutting their costs and raising our prices lately.

2. Reservations seem to be down for this summer compared to others. Brazil's economy crashed, & Brazilian tourists are a big group who mostly visit in the summer (their winter). Resort, ADR and FP availability have been much higher for this July than they were last July.

We can't believe it either. We have been going in the summer for years and never saw a 9pm or 10pm closing in MK. We have had a midnight closing and while we were there they extended it to 1am. Let alone the EMH days. We have been there when it closed at 3am. We are AP holders now but that is why we would park hop - we would end in MK almost every night and would get so much done. I hope they extend the hours once we get closer.

How long do we wait before we give up on evening EMH? I'm going for my first summer trip in July, and am shocked with the closing times. I've been reassuring (fooling?) myself that the hours will probably change by July.
