Park hours in October 2021?

I know that the park hours are currently shortened but I'm curious what everyone's thoughts were on the hours for October. What were the typical hours before Covid? Do you think they will be shortened also?

I think it's really hard to predict for the fall right now. I think a lot is dependent on these next few months of COVID vaccinations. There is potential that things are "normal" again in the fall if they can vaccinate 70% of the eligible population by early summer. It's also possible that the pace doesn't pick up much and there are still significant capacity restrictions.

My vote because I'm an optimist is that October is the 1st month that Disney is truly back to normal again without distancing / masks / capacity restrictions.

I think a lot depends on if they do the Halloween parties. Will they do them at all? Same amount? Less?

As soon as they are allowed to , they will do them strictly for the increased revenue. I think it's a "when not if".

I don't disagree, but we have no idea what the virus will look like then.

My past October trips:

Epcot was always just until 9 as usual.
Weekends at MK if not a party were 11 or midnight. I think weekdays were 10?
AK was weird, maybe 8:30 during the week, but one of the Fridays I was there it was open until 11 pm.

If nothing else, I do think we will have fairly close to normal hours by October. And I am already planning my costume (we are going to be Heffalumps!) so I sure hope there is a party to go to!

Just a guess, but I expect large crowds at the beginning of October for the 50th and would expect extended hours.
After that, it could be anything. I'm expecting hours nearer to normal.
