Hum.....so just looking at the hours and it seems as though the parks close very early. I thought this week was sort of part of "Spring Break"? Is it just too soon to be checking hours? (today is March 9th).....

They are on a rolling schedule of changing hours, they go a week at a time, and it's usually a couple weeks out. You still have probably another week or two before those hours get changed. Look for the hours to change the week before your trip then you know yours are about to change.

Just looking at it myself, the week starting March 28 should change this Friday (march 12), then the week starting April 4 (March 19), so you're looking at your park hours possibly changing on March 26.

waiting for the same week. I don't expect to see anything change until about 2 weeks before, based on how they are currently changing.
You should see your hours by April 2, I’m about to go on my 5th trip since reopening and it’s been the same schedule for hours without deviation.

Do they add dining reservations in the evening if they extend the evening hours. Currently there are no reservations past 630 at Epcot.

Hope you're correct. It would be nice to be able to change some plans before we arrive.

They won’t be much different than what they are for the already extended dates. I was there Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, and Presidents’ Day weekend and the hours were all very similar (as are the hours for this coming weekend, with the only exception being AK staying open later).
I don’t have experience with dining reservations being extended with park hours unfortunately, we always make our ADRs for lunch so we can have a good midday break when the crowds are the worst.

I am really hoping for the extended hours we see now. But I am nervous they won't be since the spring break period is over.
Also freaking out trying to find ponchos we won't hate (not flying in the breeze). I am 5'8" 39 inches to top of knee, and he is 6'7" 45 inches to top of his knee (not a typo lol).

See you guys there!

For a variety of reasons, I think you're going to see some hours get extended for that week, seems like it's almost a weekly thing right now.

I was looking at Epcot dining reservations for next week an there were openings at 8pm and later. I don’t know what the original close time was when they released dining reservations for that week. I think It would be odd for them to extend Epcot hours to 9pm or 10 pm and have dining reservations stop at 630 pm.

Well yeah, it would be, I just never pay attention to them because I always do lunch ADRs was all I was saying. I didn't want to give an answer that was wrong, maybe lead someone to believe something would or wouldn't happen based on what I think Disney should do when I don't actually know the answer first hand.

I buy rain jackets from Academy Sports, their store brand, that fold up in to the pocket so they fit easily in to my park bag. I have the for my whole family, even my husband that is 6'4". I always buy them a size larger than we need to fit around bags, and over most of our clothing. I don't trust ponchos, I've seen too many people have them fly over their heads during a bad storm (which happened Presidents day weekend when my DD10 and I were in MK, we had our jackets on and only our legs and the very bottom of my skirt and leggings got wet, which both dried by the time I was done eating lunch). Once the rain is done I just fold them up and back in my bag they go, mine has been on 15 trips in 3 years since I bought it and still holding up superbly, it was $20 and paid for itself a long time ago. I wouldn't worry too much about hours being extended really far, I know it's fun to be in the parks late, but my DD12 and I were done this weekend by 8 every night. We'd RD and be done by lunch, go to our ADR, go back to the resort and chill, then head back to the parks around 4:30-5. Even with HS closing at 8 we did a lot of the rides more than once with little wait (good timing on our park getting there before park open) and were just kind of like "Ok, what now......" with no night time stuff going on we were just done and ready to go. We did enjoy eating around WS at Epcot, but there is only so much of that you can do (and I can only spend so much money in the Japan pavilion lol). I'm ready for longer hours as much as the next person, but until they bring back nighttime stuff it's just not as worth it.

I also have a brother-in-law who is 6'10" so I get it, my husband is the shortest one in his family at 6'4" with three brothers taller than him, I know that's super frustrating and nearly impossible to find anything with good coverage.

Oh I get it. I was mostly just thinking out loud. Dining reservations are scarce in April. Even places you can normally book the day of are gone. I'm hoping they open up more slots.

Do you mean the long yellow rain coats they have that are their brand? I am currently looking online.
