What is the amount of hopping you can do if any. I thought I heard that you can make a reservation at one park in the morning and then go to another park after 2 pm. TIA

Once you enter the park you reserved, you can hop to as many as you want after 2 pm assuming there is room. You are not limited to just one extra.

Is that with any ticket type or does it have to be attached to a hopper pass or annual pass?

Glad I stumbled upon the park hopper info. Wasn’t sure what they’d look like but being able to move after 2pm is great.

You have to have hopping on your pass. Those rules are the same as before. But just like before, you can visit all 4 parks in one day if you wanted to assuming it’s available.

I thought I read here that a CM will be at the bus locations at each park to let you know what parks are available. It would a pain in the neck if you took a bus to AK just to find out it's at capacity. then you take a bus to MK and it's also at capacity. WHAT!!

Any updates on the availability of park hopping? Has anyone recently used this and run into parks at capacity? Hoping to park hop to MK in mid-May!

So far, there have been no reports of anyone being shut out from hopping to any park, even on days when all parks are at capacity and not allowing more reservations. It seems that Disney took hopping into account when setting park reservation limits.

Can you hop back to the park you started at? For example start at MK, eat at Epcot and then return to MK? Is there a certain park that’s better to experience at night With no fireworks going on right now?

Yes you can go back to your original park. With no fireworks, I would say they are all on equal standing. I personally like to go to HS about an 1.5 hrs before closing to ride my favorites (TOT and Slinky). Same goes for MK (BTMR at night every trip).

Epcot stays open the latest and unless there are no other parks available for booking, I go to Epcot after 2pm.

Epcot is closing at 11 PM for the next few months. With the sun setting around 8:00-8:30, it is the only park where you will get to experience Disney at night. MK closes at 9:00, which makes it a distant second choice.

Just so I understand this, you can park hop after 2 pm to any park, and "usually" there is no problem. So, I can go to MK even though I can not get an initial reservation for that park that day, to begin with?

As long as you have a reservation at another park and tap in at that park before going to the MK, there should be no problem. No one has reported being denied entry to a park they hopped to.

Most likely. Just keep in mind things can change.

Right now capacity is limited at 35% and so far all parks have had availability for hopping. Every park every day has allowed it.

It’s harder to say what will happen once capacity goes to 50% or more. Hopefully all will still be okay, just don’t know 100%.

MDE will send Push Notifications if any park does hit hopping capacity. They haven’t needed to use that system... yet.
