Park Hopping

What's the best way to hop, starting at AK in morning and MGM in the afternoon?

I prefer to do AK either in the morning or in the evening EMH, just because there don't seem to be so many animals during the afternoon (so yes, AK in am, then MGM in pm would work). If you're staying onsite, check out the morning EMH, though, and start at that park if it's one of the ones you're considering.

Actually I meant what are my actual transportation options, do I have to take a bus back to the Wilderness Lodge and than another bus to MGM?

Actually there is a bus that runs directly from AK to MGM. The park to park buses don't seem to run as often as the resort buses, especially in the middle of the day.

We are going to do this too, and we are also staying at the WL. The day we are planning to do this AK has early morning hour so we will get there early and have lunch there, then we plan on going back to WL to rest a bit and then go to MGM by 5:30 to be there in time for the Cars (etc) parade. MGM will be having evening magic hours so we think we will have enough time to see a lot of the top picks that we want to see. This might be a crazy plan but it leaves us with an extra day to go back to MK or EPCOT.

I believe that there is a bus that should take you from AK to MGM. If not get on any resort bus and switch there. Or you could take a bus to Boardwalk, Swan/Dolphin and walk to MGM (or take the boat from those resorts too)

Sure, there is Disney transportation (Bus, Monorail, or Boat) that runs FROM every WDW theme-park, TO every WDW theme-park.

Its a service to enable those who bought a Hopper ticket, to be able to HOP.
