Park Hopping Question!

Hi everyone! In the process of planning my first trip and I had a quick question!

We arrive May 24th and are going straight into Epcot for dinner. Epcot closes at 9 and MK is open until 12 am that night. Id love to see the castle my first night and maybe squeeze in a ride or two.

We are staying on a monorail resort, so if I take the monorail from Epcot to the TTC and then switch over to the express MK monorail, would I get to MK in time to do a few things? Basically what I'm asking is it worth it to travel to MK after Epcot closes? Id be getting on the monorail anyways to go the Polynesian, so I figured why not go to MK real quick!

I've done it. Since you'll be in the "neighborhood" anyways, why not stop by MK and renew that magic.

Just make sure you get on the park monorail and not the resort monorail when leaving Epcot. I almost did and some wonderful guest steered me right.

After taking the monorail from Epcot to the TTC you then have to transfer to a monorail to MK,taking the resort monorail to MK wouldn't have been a problem as it still would have stopped at the MK,it would stop at Poly and GF before stopping at MK but it would have gotten you there.The express monorail at the TTC would obviously been the better choice as it goes directly to MK without stops,but taking the resort monorail wouldn't have been a major problem,I take it pretty frequently if I see a big line for the express.
