Park Hopping option or 10 day ticket for 5 days?

Reading another post got me thinking. We will be at Disneyworld for 5 days, two of which will be only half days. Of course I want to park hop for my short stay. But since a 10 day pass is only a few dollars more than a 5 day pass, and hopping is 35.00, wouldnt it be a better deal to buy a 10 day ticket and just use up say 2 single park entries in 1 day instead. Can you do this? Or is it 1 park only each day. i hope how I wrote this makes sense.

Can't do it. You can only use the ticket at one park per day- the gates of other parks won't let you through if you used the ticket at another park that day. You will have to spring for the $35 to hop, or spend the entire day at one park. You can, however, leave and return to the same park the same day.

Thanks. Just looked over at mousesavers and read the same thing. Thought it seemed too good and people here would have thought of it first. I will definately get the park hopper. of course i am buying a 6 day for my 5 day trip just to get the extra plus option for an extra 3 dollars.

since you are adding the park hopper and plus options anyway (but at somepoint we cant just keep getting higher and higher lol) you might want to consider the 10 day premium non expiry if you think you will ever go again. although it adds a lot now it may make your overall cost for 2 trips much lower.

We edned up the 6 day as well for extra pluses... somehow we are fitting this all in to our week vacation but I think it can be done Don't know if we'll use all the 6 days though. But still only few bucks for one more water park or PI. Must cheaper than a separate admission.
