Park hopping on buses

Is there any bus service between resorts or do you always have to go back to a hotel. I know you can go from Epcot to MK on the monorail, but what about the other two parks? Would you need to go back to a resort to get a bus to another park?
I also have the same question about DTD - are there any buses going to the parks from DTD? Also, while I'm at it - can you get directly from a waterpark from a theme park?

There is direct transportation between all of the major parks.

There is not direct transportation between the major parks and DTD.

I'm not sure about the waterparks.

There is bus service between all the parks. If you are at the MK, or want to go there, you have to go through the TTC, buses to other parks go there not to MK itself.
Other parks have park buses right alongside the resort bus areas.
But, there is no resort to resort bus service. You have to head to a nearby park and take the resort bus to the resort you want to go to from there. I normally make any resort plans for the days I'll be at a nearby park on the same day..makes getting to and from the resort much easier.

There are no buses between DTD and the parks. The DTD buses go to only the resorts.
