I will going to WDW in late April arriving on the 26 and staying through the 30. I have looked at the average temps but was wondering just how warm will it be? Is the humidity an issue at that time of year?

My family usually travels to WDW in November so we are used to cooler temps with sweatshirts at night. And yes, being from New England, we swim when it's only 70º! (Ever been to the Maine shore in August???!)

I was wondering if I will be too hot and sweaty to go from a park in the afternoon off to the Boardwalk for a nice dinner?
(dressed appropriately of course!)

Thanks,
penny

It will be warm-to-hot, but humidity shouldn't really start to kick in until May. You should be fine, going from park to park to resort, although you might want to bring your make-up bag so that you can wipe off the sun screen and touch up your make-up before dinner!

Late April of 2002 it was in the 90's! :eek But last april it was much cooler and very nice. :smooth: Just be prepared for anything, and check the forecast right before you leave. :)

I'm also a fellow New Englander, and I think you'll be fine. We like to take a break early afternoon back at the hotel, and if you did this and showered then, you'd be fine for dinner. But even if you didn't, as someone suggested, you could refresh in the ladies room.
