Park Hopping & Fastpasses

Are the fast pass systems in each park connected? If you have hoppers can you hold a fast pass for a ride in each park at the same time?

They are not connected. If you go and get a RSR pass that is good for 4 hours away, you can then go to DL and immediately get one for Star Tours.

Thanks, thats what i had thought but then i was reading tips and tricks for Disneyland on pinterest and once site said they were connected so i wanted to double check

It doesn't actually matter how far away your DCA FP time window is, you can still immediately hop to DL and pull a FP for an attraction in that park. WoC, Olaf, and A&E are "disconnected" from the rest of the DCA FP system (the latter two being Return Tickets, rather than true FPs). Likewise, F! (and, I think, Fantasy Faire Theatre) is "disconnected" from the rest of the DL FP system.
