Park Hopping Epcot to MK by monorail during EMH?

I was planning to hop from Epcot to Magic Kingdom when MK has extra magic hours. If I did this by monorail, but was parked in the Epcot lot, would I be able to leave my car at Epcot and return to it after MK closes? Or would I definitely need to take my car from Epcot to MK in order to avoid a really negative experience?

Agree. You should park at MK, take the monorail to Epcot and then take it back to MK for EMH.
